Legislative Assembly Mission:

Legislative Assembly staff provide continuity and enduring non-partisan services, in a secure and orderly environment, to the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through: procedural advice, administrative support and information services.

Public Education & Outreach Vision:

B.C. citizens appreciate and are engaged in the parliamentary process through public education about the institution of Parliament and the significance of the B.C. Parliament Buildings. 

Goals:

Goal 1:   To build understanding and appreciation of the institution of Parliament amongst B.C. citizens through support to MLAs, educational programs and outreach initiatives.

Goal 2:   To make the B.C. institution of Parliament more approachable and accessible for the public by facilitating access to the legislative precinct and interaction with MLAs.

Goal 3:   To increase visitor awareness of the history of the Parliament Buildings and the parliamentary process through informational programs, materials and outreach initiatives.
